Roof Venting

One of the most important aspects of a roofing system is proper venting to take care of any moisture that may accumulate in the interior of the structure.

Venting is something that is often overlooked by homeowners and roofing contractors. This oversight may result in moisture damage to the home, and possible harmful mold growth and structural damage (due to wood rot).

If a roof is not vented properly, the homeowner can experience water dripping inside their house, just as a roof leak may cause water to drip inside the house. After a roof is applied to the home, however, it becomes very difficult to vent the home and solve the moisture problems.

At Phoenix Roofing LLC, we have developed several methods for effectively venting a roof prior to installing our roofing system. If lack of venting is deemed to be a potential problem, we will review the various venting options with you, and choose the best solution for your home.

We care about our customers and our job quality, and we will not simply put a roof on without objectively looking at the project and recommending the best option for the homeowner.

We often recommend that a venting system be integrated with an insulation system to maximize protection and effeiciency.
